Zahara de los Atunes, May 19th 2022. The Meliá Atlanterra Hotel reopens its doors on June 9 for the summer season after a comprehensive reform of its facilities and services. It is a commitment of Meliá Hotels and GMA, management company of ATOM Hotels SOCIMI, to raise the value proposition for the client and boost the competitiveness of the destination at a time of recovery.
With the commitment by both parties to maintain the quality of their assets and offer the best brand experience, and following the strategy on the part of GMA / Atom Hotels to advance important investments in their assets, the reform has included the renovation of their common areas such as the reception, the living room or the swimming pools, as well as all the rooms of the establishment in which the spaciousness of the space and a design decoration predominates, modern and elegant.
The hotel includes a spa with circuits, treatments, and a fitness center, plus a lake-style pool with beds and hammocks.
The Meliá Zahara Atlanterra has a total of 283 rooms, along with several villas with a Balinese design that feature a private garden and swimming pool.
They have also included The Level services, for some selected rooms, a space with a private check- in area, snacks, and drinks throughout the day.
A children’s area, “The Kidsdom”, has been incorporated for children between eight months and 10 years old, which has several clubs, with a children’s pool, a splash park, and a pool for families with sand from the beach of Zahara de los Atunes.
In addition, it offers a Mosaico buffet restaurant, and an à la carte restaurant, GAIA Grill, as well as the Breeza Beach Club, a beach bar. Guests can enjoy the best atmosphere by the sea and taste exquisite fish from the area accompanied by music and the best cocktails at Breeza Beach Club, its beach bar on Atlanterra beach. Next to these restaurants, Lobby Bar Mosaico, where you can enjoy the best drinks; Gaia Pool Bar, the pool bar with wet bar; and Kidsdom Corner, perfect for a break while enjoying the hotel’s family offerings, complete the hotel’s dining options.
The establishment is owned by Victoria Hotels & Resorts, a company founded in 2021 by Meliá Hotels International, Bankinter and GMA.
